Latte pumpkin spice Tea

We couldn’t finish this month of November without our best recipe of a good and hot cup of vegan latte pumpkin spice, and as we only do tea, chai was the perfect fit.

We wanted a treat that could enjoy in those cold morning ( made with regular chai tea) or evening ( with decaffeinated chai rooibos tea). Of course we wanted it without a tone of calories.

Here what you will need :

  • 1 bag of organic spiced chai tea

  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 table spoon of maple syrup ( for that delicious caramel flavor)

  • 2 tablespoon of real organic pumpkin purée

  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • 1/8 teaspoon of ground ginger

  • Dash nutmeg

  • Dash cloves

  • Tiny dash salt

  • OPtionnal  garnish : 1 cinnamon stick

    pumkin spice

This is how to make it :

  1. Boil 1/4 cup of water, and the tea bag and steep for 4 or 5 minutes.

  2. Remove the tea bag and add the almond milk, pumpkin purée, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and salt to the pan.

  3. Pour the mixture into a stand blender and blend a minute of two, until the ingredients are blended together and the drink is nice and creamy.

  4. Pour the mixture back into your pan and gently rewarm on the stove, then  put it into a mug.

Finish…Enjoy it !  You can top it with a whipped coconut cream or garnish with a cinnamon
